This Pool Certainly Has The Best Views In Hollywood
Undoubtedly a pool that boasts some of the best views in Hollywood, this stunning design is located in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles and overlooks both the gorgeous Hollywood Hills and downtown LA. Both the house and the pool were part of the extravagant project that involved demolishing the existing home set on a 57,000 square foot (5,244 square meters) residential site in West Hollywood.
An Architect’s Project
A team from Quinn Architects were in charge of the project that involved cutting “stacked and shifted horizontal planes” out of the landscape to create the wonderfully expansive views the lush, green property now boasts.
The new home is a 14,500 square foot (1,334 square meters) contemporary 21st century villa that has been positioned very carefully on the site to take advantage of the views in every direction. Inside spaces have lofty 14 foot-high (more than four meter high) living spaces, and an impressive 20-foot high (6 m) ceiling in the main living room. Not surprisingly the living areas also look out onto the lavish pool that has, as already mentioned, the best views in Hollywood.
